Cookies
We use so-called cookies on our website to recognize multiple use of our offer by the same user/internet connection owner. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser places and saves on your computer. They serve to optimize our internet presence and our offers. They are mostly so-called “session cookies”, which are deleted again after the end of your visit.
However, in some cases these cookies provide information to automatically recognize you again. This recognition is based on the IP address stored in the cookies. The information obtained in this way is used to optimize our offers and to make it easier for you to access our site.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of our website to their full extent.

For technical reasons, the following data, among others, which your Internet browser transmits to us or to our web space provider, are recorded (so-called server log files):
– Browser type and version
– Operating system used
– Website from which you visit us (referrer URL)
– Website you visit
– Date and time of your access
– Your Internet Protocol (IP) address.
This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal data you may have provided and therefore does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a specific person. They are evaluated for statistical purposes in order to be able to optimize our Internet presence and our offers.

Use of Google Analytics with anonymization function
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of the company Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter “Google” on our site. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and thus enable an analysis of your use of the website.
The information generated by these cookies, such as time, place and frequency of your website visit including your IP address, is transferred to Google in the USA and stored there.
We use Google Analytics with an IP anonymization function on our website. In this case, your IP address is already shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and is thus anonymized.
Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for us and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.
Google will, according to its own information, under no circumstances connect your IP address with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of our website.
Furthermore, Google offers a deactivation option for the most common browsers, which gives you more control over which data is collected and processed by Google. If you activate this option, no information about your website visit will be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, activation does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services that we may use. For more information about the deactivation option provided by Google and how to activate this option, please click on the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent the collection of your information on future visits to this site: Disable Google Analytics
Use and application of Google Ads
We use Google Ads for our site. Google Ads is an internet advertising service that allows advertisers to display ads in Google’s search engine results as well as in the Google advertising network. Google Ads allows an advertiser to predefine keywords that will cause an ad to appear in Google’s search engine results only when the user uses the search engine to retrieve a keyword relevant search result. In the Google advertising network, the ads are distributed to topic-relevant web pages by means of an automatic algorithm and in accordance with the previously defined keywords.
The operating company of the Google Ads services is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.
The purpose of Google Ads is to promote our website by displaying advertisements relevant to our interests on the websites of third parties and in the search, engine results of the Google search engine and by displaying third-party advertising on our website.
If a person concerned reaches our website via a Google ad, a so-called conversion cookie is stored on the information technology system of the person concerned by Google. What cookies are has already been explained above. A conversion cookie loses its validity after thirty days and does not serve to identify the data subject. If the cookie has not expired, the conversion cookie is used to determine whether certain sub-pages, such as the shopping cart from an online shop system, have been accessed on our website. The conversion cookie enables us and Google to track whether a person who has reached our website via an AdWords ad generated sales, i.e. whether he or she has completed or abandoned a purchase.
The data and information collected through the use of the conversion cookie is used by Google to create visit statistics for our website. These visit statistics are in turn used by us to determine the total number of users who were referred to us via AdWords ads, i.e. to determine the success or failure of the respective AdWords ad and to optimize our AdWords ads for the future. Neither our company nor other Google Ads advertisers receive any information from Google that could be used to identify the person concerned.
The conversion cookie is used to store personal information, such as the websites visited by the person concerned. Whenever a person visits our website, personal data, including the IP address of the internet connection used by the person concerned, is transmitted to Google in the United States of America. This personal data is stored by Google in the United States of America. Google may pass on this personal data collected via the technical process to third parties.
The person concerned can prevent the setting of cookies by our website, as already described above, at any time by means of a corresponding setting in the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the Internet browser used would also prevent Google from setting a conversion cookie on the information technology system of the person concerned. In addition, a cookie already set by Google Ads can be deleted at any time via the internet browser or other software programs.
Furthermore, the data subject has the opportunity to object to interest-based advertising by Google. To do so, the person concerned must access www.google.de/settings/ads from any of the internet browsers he or she uses and make the desired settings there.
Further information and Google’s applicable privacy policy can be found at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
Use of Google Maps
We use the component “Google Maps” of the company Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter “Google”, on our site.
Each time the “Google Maps” component is called up, Google sets a cookie to process user settings and data when the page on which the “Google Maps” component is integrated is displayed. This cookie is usually not deleted when the browser is closed, but expires after a certain time, unless you delete it manually beforehand.
If you do not agree with this processing of your data, there is the possibility to deactivate the service of “Google Maps” and thus prevent the transmission of data to Google. To do this, you must deactivate the Java-Script function in your browser. We would like to point out, however, that in this case you will not be able to use “Google Maps”, or only to a limited extent.
The use of “Google Maps” and the information obtained via “Google Maps” is subject to the Google Terms of Use
http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html
and the additional terms and conditions for “Google Maps
https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.

We use components of the provider facebook.com on our page. Facebook is a service of Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA.

If you call up our page and are logged on to Facebook during this time, Facebook recognizes which specific page you are visiting through the information collected by the component and assigns this information to your personal account on Facebook. For example, if you click on the “Like” button or make corresponding comments, this information is transmitted to your personal user account on Facebook and stored there. In addition, the information that you have visited our site is passed on to Facebook. This happens regardless of whether you click on the component or not.

This enables LinkedIn to associate the visit of our pages with your LinkedIn account.
We have no control over the data LinkedIn collects through this, nor over the extent of that data collected by LinkedIn. We also have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted to LinkedIn. For details about LinkedIn’s data collection practices and your rights and preferences, please see LinkedIn’s privacy policy.
